So I'm starting to get frazzled with all that is going on right now. So I've been scrambling for the last two weeks trying to get things worked out and moved around. Why? you may ask.....I have to get things ready before I leave to go down to California on the 19th to get my friend Brent whom is moving here and in with me and my parents so that he can get a fresh start with his life. You see at the end of 2008 his whole family get split up because they couldn't afford where they were living...they were in debt..and things were not looking up at all. He moved in with his best friend, his friends Grandfather (whom is like a grandfather to himself) and another friend who lives there too. He got laid off of work on the New Years Eve....he had been looking for another job, but sadly there are no jobs where he is. I had made the offer to him to move up here and get a fresh start but he was determined things would work out. Unfortunately things never did work out....So about a month or less ago he asked me if my offer still stood and I said "Of course it is".

Things were slow going at first trying to figure out when this would happen. We had settled on the weekend of the 19th of June because he wanted to be around for his daughter Jessica's 1st birthday which just so happens to be on the 19th. Thats right he has a little baby girl..she lives with her mother. Him and his daughters mother just could not make a relationship work and they are better off as friends. He loves his daughter dearly and didn't want to move so far away from her but with the way things are going he can't even help support her. After talking to him more about it he does see that it is better this way. He will move up here...be able to find a job easier then where he is now...and get his life back together and be more stable. Now you see there is one point that I made to him that made him think about how moving here really is the best choice....Lynsay (Jessica's mother) has a brain tumor that can not be operated on...so if anything does happen to her (god forbid) Brent will be able to take care of Jessica. The last thing I want to do is take him away from his daughter. I told him that once he gets a job I will make him put money aside from each paycheck so that he is able to go back down to California and see his daughter during Christmas and her birthday at the LEAST.

Anyways....so I leave this coming friday and am going to drive about 14hrs down to Oakdale CA to where his father lives with a friend. I'll be staying there the first night then driving another 6-8hrs down to Lake Elsinore where Brent is. We'll stay there a night in a motel...see his daughter...get things packed into the car..etc... Now I won't be going alone, my friend Melisa is going with me. So sometime on the 21st we'll leave and head back up to Oakdale and stay there another night before heading home. The car will be packed with Brent's things, 3 people, and a pitbull...yes a pitbull. Brent has pitbull that is just over a year old and he is Brent's baby boy...lol. I'm just hoping that everything will work out and go smoothly. And that when we get home that Kane (the Pitbull) and Orion (my family's dog) will get alone just fine and that there will not be any issues at all. So cross your fingers for me and hope everythings go well for us.
